You know, sometimes an outfit is so nice you got to show it twice! I showed this dress last fall in a more traditional sense. This early spring season is a little like fall weather. It gives me an opportunity to get creative with some old looks and put a spring twist on them!

This dress I got last fall from a local boutique Apricot Lane and I loved it. I'm a big fan of a midi dress. I am on the taller side so these are the perfect length for me. In the fall I paired this with some booties and a necklace and called it good. This dress technically has a front tie, which is truly the standout detail on this dress. The downside is because it's a sweater material it kind of hung funny. But I liked having a cinched in item on the waist.

For spring I decided to tie the detail so it laid a little more flush. I was able to wrap it around my waist and tie on the side, which I think was more flattering on my frame. It still created a fun texture around the waist without messing with the silhouette. It's still a little chilly and I refuse to wear a winter coat so it's back to denim jacket season. This is a closet staple and still works well for spring. I swapped out my ankle booties for a sling back. It's not quite sandal season but my ankles will be covered no longer! These from local Primp boutique might be my favorite pair of shoes I have bought in a long time. The leopard print I am dying over and the sling back silhouette is so chic! Everyone needs these!
