I have been loving a good try on lately. So much good spring stuff is out there right now and I just need to show it to you all! So when there is an opportunity to showcase a local boutique in a try on I couldn't be more excited!

Apricot Lane is one of my favorite local places. A true mix of super casual, boho but also some dressier items for special events. When they invited me to do a little try on, I wanted to show a mix of my favorite pieces for this time of spring where one day it's beautiful and sunny and another it's cold and rainy.

This top might have been one of the first things I grabbed. It's knit so it covers if it's cold out but also lightweight and breathable for a warmer day. This color is also stunning! A muted taupe that is the perfect transition from dark winter to pastels of spring. I paired it with these high waisted green pants. They are a little wide leg and cropped, which is totally in right now. You could totally pair this sweater with some loose cutoffs for a SoCal vibe. These fun little fringe sandals add the spring/summer edge. These shoes weren't online but you can call up the store too.

Sweater / Pant / Sandal (call- they were Billabong)

I need another sweatshirt like I need a hole in the head. However, when I saw a striped sweater with cowl neck it was calling my name. Then I found it was a little balloon sleeve! I just about died. It's that super lightweight kind of sweatshirt. Great for a weekend running errands or bonfires. I paired it with some casual drawstring denim shorts that were super comfy! I couldn't find the exact shorts online but check your local store they had a bunch when I was there.

You guys....they have the Spanx leggings. I.am.obsessed. I already own two pairs and I basically live in them. They had the black camo ones and I definitely almost bought them. (disclaimer: these are typically not included in any discounts or sales, but worth every penny!) This feels like my weekend go-to look for running errands or lounging.

This outfit is straight up summer. I may be jumping the gun with this one, but I fell in love with this little eyelet top. I love an eyelet pattern, haven't met one I didn't like. This is basically two pieces together so a good wind gust will blow it wide open. I put one of their bandeau tops on underneath it and it worked perfectly. These cutoffs are a little short in the front but they are longer in the back to cover it all up. These were a little snug, sometimes I like to go up a size in cut offs so they hang and look a little more casual. This is also when I put these wedges on and didn't take them off, ha! I couldn't find them online but call the store. They were velcro y'all, mind blown!

Tank / Shorts / Wedges (call)-they were Blowfish/ Bandeau

Here's another way to rock the shorts. A little more coverage. This tee says "Life's better with coffee" and I never found a tee more made for me ;) The letters are embroidered like your grandmother sewed them on, which I loved that litlte touch too. Super comfy and cute.

A midi dress might be my favorite silhouette. Just so flattering I think and great from spring all the way into fall. This rust/brown stripe is to die for. Super cute and casual. I paired it with wedges but you could totally wear sneakers and a denim jacket with this. I liked the knot detail on the front, it helps create the illusion of an hourglass shape. Even for ladies like myself who don't have one. Again, unfortunately I couldn't find this online but linked a imilar one. There were plenty at the store though so go on in and check it out!

It wouldn't be try on without a jumpsuit. The stripes and cut out on this one really stood out to me. The white and blue stripes were giving me all the nautical vibes. I am imagining myself sipping a moscow mule lakeside on patio in this. I coudl also totally see this for a cocktail party or a casual wedding. Just the absolute cutest and oh so comfortable!

I can't lie, this shirt is for my mamas out there. I like to support and rock the mother in me, but not in a lame way (there's terrible to say, but it is what it is). I really liked the type on this some vintage about it. With mother's day coming up this is a great option for all you mamas. I am wearing a small, I would maybe get a medium only because I like my tees a little loose. These jeans were everything I wanted. I was looking for a  high waisted denim with no distressing. I can't wear distressed jeans to work. I was also exploring a side stripe option and this is a great muted version of this trend. The black is a little washed out but there is a solid black stripe on the side. Epic.

Tee / Jeans

Here is an option to dress up the jeans. This top struck me as a great wear to work option. The balloon sleeves are a fun detail and this print was so eye catching! I think it's described as a paintbrush print, but it also gives me a hint of leopard vibes. This I thought went with the edgier jean, but you could totally wear with a black pant for work, would be totally cute with a paperbag pant.
