Hey all! So guess who finally jumped on the Converse train? This girl! I know, I know not exactly ground breaking stuff but I had to share it. I have wanted a pair for a while and honestly wasn't sure if I could pull it off. There is a casual-coolness about them that I wasn't sure I possessed. I didn't want to look like a poser. I realized though that I like to play around a lot with fashion and try on many looks, so who cares? Here I am!

I have a fair amount of basic tees and tanks I debated pairing with these shoes. Truthfully, I was wearing this sweater for work and I just liked it. It's not something I would normally reach for but this sweater has a casualness about it. It's not technically an off the shoulder but it just desperately wants to lay like that on me. Maybe I don't have strong shoulders ;) I got this top in my most recent Stitch Fix (stay tuned for that post) and I love it. I can wear it to work but it also is loose and flowy enough to pair with some high waisted jeans. It's not quite a waffle knit, but a similar texture. Plus, I love this blue because it matches the blue of the converse.

I kept it pretty casual with some distressed jeans and no jewelry. This is a perfect Saturday running around look for moms and non-moms alike. I like that the converse edges this lookout a bit. I really like when I can mix and match clothing genres that work together. This is a great example of that mix and match.
