Happy Friday everyone! I had a really busy week for a change. Work was actually busy, not in the way I would like and we did a lot this week too. Let's get started!

1. PHOTOSHOOT
On Monday I did probably one of my last photoshoots for local boutique Apricot Lane. I have had so much fun doing this. I have gotten to meet some really awesome and fun girls. Plus wearing clothes and getting compliments is just as fun as you'd think ;) I look forward to keeping in touch with them and hopefully working with them more in the future.

2. PAINT YOUR ROOM
On Sunday and Monday D and I spent some time painting another bedroom. We picked some colors out this weekend and I really like them. We picked a light green and beige. Problem is D thinks the beige looks more pink.  I don't agree and don't want to paint again so he can do it himself. We also had a carpet guy come over to re-lay the carpet. For one, he came late. Then he said he ran out of stapes and didn't return. Um...what? We are getting a deal through a friend, but really! I just want this room finished.

3. CUDDLEPUPS
My dogs have been extra cuddly this week. I don't know what it is. So I apologize for the constant sharing of adorable pictures on my instastory. Every morning, and most nights, Riggs tries to cuddle in the bed. One morning weeks ago we woke up to find Riggs in the bed and under the blanket.  We couldn't figure out how that happened as neither of us remembered. This week I woke up jsut as this was happening again. In D's sleep he picked up the blanket so Riggs could scoot under. Mystery solved! We had a good laugh the next day.

4. PRESEASON FOOTBALL
Preseason started last week. Excited? Meh. It's preseaon but that doesn't stop all the shop talk and D wanted to watch it. On Thursday the Vikings played Seattle so the game was on 9:00 PM our time. Needless to say we did not finish watching it.

5. FALL LEATHER
I made one and only purchase during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I saw a bunch of cute stuff but nothing I had to have, ya know? Especially when I am trying to be more mindful of my budget. I saw this vest and I knew it had to be mine. Funny enough, about a week after I got it J's Everyday named it one of her must haves for Fall. Problem is I did not want to wait until Fall to wear it. So, I pulled out this old, trusty dress to pair with it. I really love how this dresses up (no pun intended) this casual summer dress. Was it a little hot? Yes. But totally worth it. In the Fall you could wear this with a great pair of skinnies and a long sleeved henley. It's so rock n' roll I immediately feel cooler wearing it. In the Fall I would definitely wear a bootie with it, even if there is no heel something with a little edge to match the vibe. I got lots of compliments on it and can't wait to wear the heck out of this when the temps begin to feel crisp.
