IT'S FRIDAYYYYYY!!! I cannot tell you how excited I am. I am over this week and ready for a nice weekend. We have lots of fun plans and I.am.ready. for them. Seriously "all work and no play makes Meg something, something.... " name that show!
Anyway, clearly, I need a weekend. Be sure to follow along with me for all the fun! In the meantime, I wanted to finally tell you all about our latest Minneapolis Bloggers meet up! I have been to most of them on a monthly basis and this was probably one of my favorites. Also, what I felt like I needed to learn the most.

After her teach, we got a chance to shoot with four different photographers. You only got a few minutes with each but you got a chance to practice your skills. I have never shot with a professional photographer before so I was kind of nervous. We were also with other bloggers so it was like performing. Unfortunately, I only got to three of them. It was fun to work with a couple of people with different styles to see how everyone works and what I responded best to.
With two of the photographers, I was finally able to get this look shot for you all. I am going to share my favorites from both photographers with you. First though, this look. The tie front has been a very popular trend right now, and I don't see it leaving soon. It's just a fun and flattering look for basically everyone. Something very casual that is perfect for summer. With this top, I also really loved the color. Like a blush/nude almost. It's not brown enough to be beige, but not exactly pink, so somewhere in the middle. I have been all over the whites/nudes/blushes this summer. I just love how easy this is. It also has a feel for me that just matches these jeans. Light wash and distressed that matches both the tone of the shirt in color and mood. I almost wore shorts but I wanted to be a little more dressed up for the event. Plus, I just love these jeans so much AND they are on sale! I capped off the look with a delicate necklace and my go-to block heel that I have had for years!
