Happy Monday! How was everyone's weekend? I had a great weekend! Only the second weekend this summer where the weather as halfway decent. All of June was so rainy, on the weekends anyway, so it was so hard to enjoy the summer. This was weekend was different and full of some events!

Friday was a chill day. We actually didn't do anything on Friday and it was kind of glorious. I like to be busy on weekends, but some downtime is nice too. I worked the whole day but got to spend almost half the day working from home. This is the benefit of summer at my job.  It was nice to just kind of chill with the man and baby and take it easy. We are running through Game of Thrones again and these nights are perfect for it!

Saturday was a bit more eventful. Reese woke up really early. I think she is getting some more teeth and was really hungry. She started the day on a bad foot. She was pretty cranky all morning. We had plans to go on the boat in the afternoon with our friends and I was getting nervous. I tried to take her to the store thinking it would be a good distraction. I was wrong. She was mad there too. Normally, she loves to wave and make friends but she was not having it.  I got her home and put her down for a nap. Thankfully the nap seemed to help, but we got on the boat later than I intended. We spent the rest of the afternoon into the evening on the boat with our friends. D took Reese into the lake, she wasn't super sure about it at first but she adjusted and had so much fun! We swam and sunned. Overall just enjoyed a hot July delay lakeside.

Sunday was the Minneapolis Bloggers meet up. I will talk about this more another day because it was so fun. Just know if you are local definitely get involved by clicking here. They did a teach and photo shoot about street style. I did these photos before the teach so these are not reflective of what I learned ;)

Today because it was mostly a casual weekend I wanted to show you my go-to weekend look. I know it's super hot outside but I basically love a sweatshirt all year round. I am really into some of the 90s trends of slapping brand names on sweatshirts and tees. This Nike sweatshirt I had my eye on for a long time until it went on sale. I love the trend, but what also caught me was the pale pink. Y'all know me I am not about a lot of color but this caught me because it was so unique. Nike is a lot about black and white, some gray. This pale pink is perfect for summertime. I wear it around the house or in the evening. It's just cozy. I also am basically living in these shorts. I bought these a couple of years ago from Gap and bought them a little big so they would be loose. The color and the casual nature of the distressing goes with almost everything in my closet right now. A little big also provides extra comfort. I topped the look off with these Birkenstock dupes from Madden Girl. I love everything Rose Gold and they are on extra sale right now for $37! They are just as comfy as a Birkenstock and the rose gold is more of a unique color, so you don't run into 100 people with the same pair.
