Polka Dots Tee / My Monochromatic Life

Happy hump day! We are officially about midway through the summer and the heat is on! Around here it has been a hot and humid summer. Almost unbearable and not the summer we all hope for. This week the weather finally took a turn. It's still pretty warm but the humidity is all but gone. Summer in Minnesota like this is absolute perfection. We get this so few and far between you have to take advantage of it.

During my trip over the Fourth of July, I stopped by one of my favorite boutiques in Chicago Alice + Wonder . Whenever I go to Chicago I always make sure I swing in there. Seriously, they have the cutest stuff! They used to be only online but since opened a storefront and I love it there. I had to pick up a couple of items. With the weather lately, I thought this tee was absolutely perfect. First of all, you know I love a stripe. It didn't take me long to fall in love with it. What really sold me were these embroidered polka dots. The embroidery adds a fun texture and the colorful polka dots are so fun! To keep with the casual vibe I paired it with a pair of black denim and small fringe bag. These earrings I got in my Box of Style and I wear constantly this summer. I topped it off with these rose gold dupes for birkenstocks. The polka dots are all very light colors like pinks, blues and yellows and I pulled those colors for the accent pieces.
