Memorial Day is around the corner and it just feels like summer when that happens. It's not officially summer but it feels like it right?Who else just wants to be on a boat on the water this weekend? I know I do. My plan is actually to head to Chicago for my cousin's 30th birthday so I am trying to pack light and also, hopefully for the warm weather.

I just got a pair of shorts in my most recent Stitch Fix, stay tuned, and it inspired me to find a few more. I almost exclusively linked high waisted shorts. It's high waist or no dice for me these days. That's mostly the trend, but I also think it's super figure flattering and many of the tops for summer are cropped. So a high waist is a must. My favorites are the striped shorts. I finally got on this trend and I think I might need to pick these up. Also anything Madewell is a must and the tulip hem is unique. If you want a pop of color these bright red ones are fun. I can definitely see these for the summer holidays. A good cargo short is a necessity too and I own these army green pair from Gap. These were on major repeat last summer.
