Welcome to my home! Back at the end of June we said goodbye to our first home and hello to our forever home. Our first home was good to us, but it was time for one that fit our new life better. We looked for a long time until settling on this one. So many factors to consider this time around that we didn't have to last time. This time we built, which was both fun and also stressful. On the positive side it turned out great and we are so happy.

Having moved in only a couple of months ago it's not fully decorated but I thought I would show you the most complete rooms beginning with the living room. Many of the pieces in here we had at our last house. We just moved them around a bit. I linked up exact pieces where I could. I wanted the room to flow so we have the couches facing one another so it opens up to the kitchen area. Perfect for when we're hosting and people sit in both the living area and kitchen.

Most of these items were gifts from other people or trinkets from our trip to Fiji. I like to keep this a mix of items.

The fireplace is a big change for us. We didn't have one before and although I am not wishing winter, I am excited to start using it. Also, a mantle! I can't tell you how excited I am to

I am really proud of this room. I'd say this one is about 90% done. I love to sit in here and watch TV, work on my computer or play with Reese. I really want this to be the space where people gather. I think that typically ends up being the kitchen but I'm hoping to convince people to move it to the couches. We have a few of Reese's toys down here as well, but I do want this to remain the adult space. Our basement is unfinished, but when we do finish it I imagine bringing a lot of her stuff down there. I also can't wait to decorate this space for the holidays.

What do you think? Below I linked what I could. Some are exact, but some are similar items.
