I'm back! We spent several days in Iceland for a whirlwind anniversary trip and it was beautiful and wonderful. One of the best places I have ever been. If you haven't already gone, plan a trip. If you have already gone, go again. I have plans to do a full itinerary post and recommendations, but that is going to take a while to put together. In the meantime I wanted to start to show you some of my looks I planned. Truthfully I spent most of the time in leggings and sweatshirts but I did get dressed up for night. I'll be showing all of it to you all so sit tight as I start with this one.

Funnily enough this was my last Iceland look. Our last day was Monday and we flew out later in the afternoon. We thought this would be the perfect time to do a little exploring in Reykjavik. In some other posts I read it seemed like a cute city so we wanted to take advantage. We stayed on Laugavegur street which had lots of restaurants and shops. We headed over to an area that was all shopping and food. Pretty touristy but also had some regular shops too. So beautiful and exactly what you'd expect. Lots of color and cute little buildings, very Norwegian/Scandanavian flare. Cool mural artwork as well. I'll give you a sneak peak

Cool, right?

For walking around I wanted something comfy but stylish. In retrospect, it seemed a little pointless because I wore a jacket, but I felt cute. I planned this look before my husband gave me my anniversary gift so the shoes came in later. This top I actually got in my most recent Stitch Fix (post pending) and I knew I was going to bring it. It's a cute leopard tee but with a step up. The sleeves are actually puffed just a little and the collar has a button back. So it's amped up a bit, which I like. I paired it with my staple black jeans from Madewell. Who makes better jeans than them? Nobody. These I wear all the time and work for so many outfits. The tee is from J. Crew so there is a bit of a preppy vibe, but I like to edge out tops like that. This long cardigan is an old Madewell one so I linked some similar options. I really like how this hat completes the look. I desperately wanted to wear this hat all over Reykavik but it was so windy this day. If I let go while taking these photos it would had flown away, but cute right? The shoes are where I got stuck. For our anniversary my husband bought these shoes for me. He got them specifically with this trip in mind because they are waterproof. They were exactly what I needed in my closet. I didn't have a plain black boot and with these being waterproof were perfect for our trip and with winter right around the corner.
