Happy Friday! I am so ready for this weekend. It was a bit of a stressful week and we are headed out of town this weekend with some friends. No kids!! Whoo! I love my little girl but ready for some adult time with our friends. Do you have any fun weekend plans?

1. IT WAS ONLY TUESDAY
So this week moved to a crawl. Tuesday rolled around it was like "oh no worries, just one more day" except not. My Tuesday looked like this:

:/

2. BABY UPDATE
How cute is this face? She is really ticklish and D's beard tickles her neck and she laughs pretty good. It's great. However, later in the week she started getting a cold and spit up all of her bottle on at least two occasions. She is usually a really good baby even when sick, but she screamed a bit and it was pretty sad. Lots of sickness going around daycare, so I am hoping a weekend away will be good to heal.

3. POM POMS
Did you see my Wednesday post? Thursday the weather around here took a turn for the cold, but before that I got to rock my new favorite seasonal transition dress. I styled it for summer, but maybe in a future post I will show how to wear it for fall.

4. JORD WATCH GIVEAWAY
The giveaway is still going strong! It closes on August 20th so be sure to enter. The winner gets a $100 giftcard, but everyone else gets a $25 giftcard. So really, you are all winners :)

5. CROPPED FLARES
I finally got one of my purchases from the Nordstrom anniversary sale. I got what I thought was my size, but TopShop sizing is weird. I exchanged for the right size and voila! Fits! I have to be honest, when I first put them on I wasn't so sure but then a friend convinced me to keep them and I'm glad I did. I have been a fan of this trend for a while but was not sure I could make it work. These fit a little snug, but they did stretch out to a comfortable fit after some short wear. I like the casual look and the released hem on these. I am not typically a cropped pant-wearer, but I can get on board with this silhouette. They are a higher rise so you can wear them with a more cropped top, and I think that helps to create a more hourglass figure. I paired it with my tank from the Who What Wear collection at Target. I tucked it in and let it out. I prefer it let out, but wanted to show you the rise of the jeans. To keep in the line with the casual look, I added a simple pendant and these black booties. Ready for the weekend!
