Current Favorites: What I'm Loving / My Monochromatic Life

I took a little Instagram poll (those are so cool, right?) and some people wanting to see some of my current favorites. So, I scoured some of my favorite places to collect both styles I already have and love and some styles I have been meaning to add to my wardrobe! Here it is :)

First a couple of items I have that I am still obsessing over. Denim jacket season is upon us. I wear mine in the summer a lot for work, but as fall approaches we'll be wearing it more and more. A bit of a change this season is the oversized/boyfriend style. It's pretty 90s and I.am.here.for it! This one from Topshop is perfection. Bucket waist pants are still very on trend. I bought this pair from Express right after having Reese. The pair I have is too big now so I am going to go back. They are lightweight so they work year round and are so flattering! The cutout booties from Target are a major fall must. This color will go with everything. Fall colors are very 70s golds, browns, reds and this warm brown will go with all of it. Plus totally affordable at $32.99! The beauty item I am wearing on the daily is the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Metallized in Peyote. It's light enough to wear on its own, or I will layer it over a light pink or nude to punch it up. Perfect for summer.

Next, are the pieces I am dying for. I am very, very into mustard colors right now. I am not typically a yellow girl, but the richness of the mustards that I am seeing are so gorgeous. Kind of a fun and bright option to transition from Summer to Fall. This top from Topshop both has the color and style I want. I have been eyeing different ways to wear these big buttons and I think this top is my favorite way. I can see this with a high-waisted jean or skirt and just wearing it non-stop. Another piece that I want to snag before summer is up are these Steven Madden dupes for $20! A steal you guys! As we approach Fall I am about these sweaters, particularly this wrap sweater from Free People. This is such an on-trend Fall color and wrap tops flatter everyone! For work, I am wanting a backpack. I carry my laptop back and forth and I am tired of the bag slapping my thigh. I think this simple and chic Target backpack might be the winner. My absolute favorite thing right now is this weekender bag from Sole Society. I haven't bitten the bullet but I plan to soon. The best part is the bottom compartment unzips and you put your shoes there. No more having your shoes get all dirty or taking up all the space! I need this bag more than anything.
