Happy Friday y'all! Welcome to the almost weekend and a holiday weekend to boot! Ready for a couple days off of work and to get out of town. This weekend we are headed to the cabin for a weekend with family. It looks like it might actually be kind of chilly so maybe not a weekend for shorts and tanks, but it's Minnesota so who knows?

For a lot of us, this is the last weekend before school season kicks off! Labor Day marks the end of summer and the start of a new school year. Although the weather may not turn drastically it is time to start stocking up on great Fall looks. If you don't know about it already Influenster is a great app that they send you product for free for your honest review. So in the sake of transparency, I received some Kohl's cash to put together this post but the opinions are my own.

This time of year I am all about a great long cardigan. They are perfect for layering over your tees and tanks from summer to wear them into fall. When I spotted this one from Kohl's I was in heaven. I have a lot of neutrals so I know I can wear this a hundred ways. The dark grey and cool beige speak to my little neutral soul. It is so comfy and so flattering. I love how a long cardigan just pulls up a look and is flattering. It creates a long and clean silhouette that makes you appear tall and lean. This cardigan also has a little extra fabric, kind of looks like it would be a hood but instead an exaggerated collar that is just unique. What else is great? This cardi comes in eight different patterns and all gorgeous neutrals!

I paired the look with a couple of great staples. This tank is an old faithful that I wear all year long as it's a great layering tank. These jeans I got from the NSale that are high waisted and beautiful. Not to mention a little-studded mule action from a local favorite Apricot Lane Maple Grove.
