Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was pretty good and I cannot complain. Definitely a chill summer weekend. We only have a couple more of these so we got to take advantage. I got in some chill movie time, hit up a baseball game (we lost, boo!) and ran some Sunday errands with my mini-me. Not bad if I say so myself!

Given that the weekend was relatively chill, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share with y'all my love affair with Madewell whisper tanks. I mean, I am sure everyone is familiar with their whisper tees and they are phenomenal. I saw these tanks early in the summer and wanted to buy some. I went shopping with one of my good friends and was showing her but couldn't find the color I wanted. My friend is a problem solver, so she found two in my size and was like, "let's go!" So I did, ha! I have them in both black and white (obviously) and have been living in them all summer long. They are the perfect basic tank that can be dressed up or down. You could find me all summer in them running errands, on the boat or with my friends hanging out. I mean, who doesn't love a solid basic that can be so transitional for any occasion.

I haven't done one of these before but I thought it would be fun to show a couple of ways to wear this because I love it so much!

This first look is basically my summer uniform. This is the simplest and easiest option. You will see me in this running errands or out for a family day. I like to keep it very simple in the summer and this is the perfect combo. Just an easy front tuck, simple jewelry and cutoffs. I do add a little fun with these old sandals. I think this look highlights exactly what is perfect about this tank. How easy it is. Just a quick throw on and you're ready to go, it's not fussy at all. Especially for moms like me, when your time to get ready is so limited. It's great to have these chic basics that keep you feeling confident and stylish with minimal effort.

The second look is more of a date night or night out with your friends. Although this is 100% cotton it almost doesn't feel like it. It does not have the stiffness of many cotton tees. Somewhere between a burnout tee and cotton tee. I think this is what makes it easier to dress up, there is a breeziness about it. For this look, I paired it with this high waisted jean skirt. I am really feeling jean skirts right now. All the buttons on the front are so fun and I love the tie waist, so many on-trend elements of this skirt. I added the peep toe bootie because we are getting close to fall and I think it's time to start incorporating those pieces slowly. The fabric on this is a little velvet-like so I have steered clear this summer. But both for a night look and late August you can totally pull this off. I opted for a statement earring with some bracelets. Big statement pieces are my favorite when I am going out. I prefer the earring these days to the necklace, there are so great options. Doesn't the tank just seem so flattering here?

Last, and probably my favorite. I decided to dress it up for a work look. I bought these camo pants a couple of weeks ago and I love them! I have wanted some camo pants forever and could never find the right fit. These are great and the zipper detail at the ankle is a little edgy. To dress it up a bit more for work I layered this blazer over the top of the tank and added a fun lariat necklace. I finished the look with these Halogen mules I got at the NSale. They also have a bit of velvet like material so it's very Fall. I am thinking a little "back to school" for myself with this outfit. I also like that for a more casual work atmosphere it still says professional but in a chic and stylish way. This was my favorite one to put together here. In this look, the tank is the blank canvas to build this trendy look around. It's so great for that too to see how versatile it can be.
