So backpacks and I are having a moment. They started to come back into style in the last couple of years and I wasn't sure how to make them work. It reminded me a little too much of the small backpack trend in the 90s. Retailers have since really upped their game and a backpack is on my wishlist. I really want one for work that is big enough for my laptop and lunch bag. One for trips out with Reese would be great too. I have a backpack diaper bag but now, frankly, it's too big. I don't need to carry so much stuff out and about with her. This has been on my mind a lot and thought you all could benefit from my research 😂
Target has actually been killin' the backpack game. Most of their backpacks aren't big enough for a laptop but they are so cute! This fold-over gray backpack is so cute! I love the thick black piping on this and overall silhouette is so unique. Doesn't hurt that it's black and gray, which are basically my favorite colors ;) This Herschel is very similar to one I bought for travel. This brand has a variety of styles but I love this one for carrying a lot of stuff. They often have a laptop pocket that is soft and protective. It has a couple of pockets and can honestly fit so much! In mine, I had a laptop, a glass water bottle, a pair of shoes, wallet, book and a cardigan. The best travel backpack by far. For a smaller, just out and about bag, I love this one from Urban Originals. I am a real sucker for the burgundy and this sleek design is perfect running errands or shopping. The fabric bag from Zara would also be a great daily bag. I could easily see this replacing my diaper bag. It has some external pockets that are perfect for what you need handy, but a zipper closure would hide that I am storing a couple diapers and wipes next to my lipsticks and wallet. For a more traditional bag, the sale on this Calvin Klein bag is amazing. Typically $168, this color is on sale for $100. There is another pattern on sale for $67 but this is my favorite. The blush contrasted with the dark grey is both ladylike and badass at the same time.
