Happy Friday everybody! I am ready for a weekend after the first week of school is over. Woof! It was a hectic week and a little relaxing is just what the doctor ordered. I don't have many plans this weekend so I will take my plans as they come. Sometimes it's nice to have nothing going on.

This week the weather took a noticeable turn. Fall chill is in the air, with cool mornings and warm evenings. I am not full on ready for jacket season but working in more fall colors and patterns I am ready. I am done with summer and made my full transition.
If you have been following me for a while, you have seen me talk about Pinkblush multiple times. This is a great online boutique that I discovered during my pregnancy. They had the cutest and most comfortable maternity clothes. My all-time favorite maternity dress came from this website. Although they are more known for maternity wear they have some really cute women's clothes as well (pssst... they also have plus size maternity and non-maternity wear!)  Since having Reese, I have picked up a few great tops and dresses.

I have to say though, this top may be my absolute favorite. They have a wide variety of women's tops  ranging from super casual to more dressier tops. When I saw this top I knew I had to have it. Black and white? Yes, please. Then the sash around the waist sold it! I love, love the silhouette and how flattering this is. The sash ties around your natural waist so it highlights right where you want it to but is forgiving in some areas you might not want to show. I love the delicate pattern on this too, it almost looks like small feathers all over it and I am so down for it. It is kind of a busier pattern than I am used to, but I think because it is black and white it does not feel overwhelming.

Now, this top would be super easy to pair this with a dark jean or black pant, but I wanted to mix it up. I laid it on my bed with these camo pants and it was so perfect! These are two totally different patterns but somehow goes together so well. It's like two foods that shouldn't go together but do. This is definitely a way to make this top more casual. The fabric of the top lends itself to work wear but it can be dressed down. I would wear this for a fun weekend day event (I don't go out at night anymore) or out shopping or coffee. With a lot of patterns going on I finished the look with a simple mule, black bag and this spiky necklace for a little sparkle!
