One of the biggest challenges of being a mom and a fashion blogger is a budget. Now, obviously, you don't have to be a mom for this to be a problem, however, since having my daughter our priorities have changed. Money has to be funneled towards her needs more than ours because it's what she needs to get by. I find myself buying her clothes all the time, not just because they are cute, but because she is growing. She needs diapers, food,  opportunities to learn, various creams the list goes on and on. Staying fashionable on a budget can be hard, especially while running a fashion blog ;)

Thankfully there are tons of opportunities right in our backyard. I realize I am not providing revelations here. Wallet-friendly fashion is something we all struggle with, and Target is one of our great saviors in this. I'll be honest, there was a time where the struggle was real at Target. Their clothing lines had grown tired and incredibly uninteresting and lack invention. Since they have cleaned out and started over it has been next to impossible for me to leave without purchasing something. Lately, when I have been in there they have just been killin' it. There is so much there I want and I have to temper myself. So let me share with you the items I desperately want in my closet so we can be in this together!

One of these items I did already buy. The long duster cardigan you have seen me talk about on my stories. I was at a Target over the weekend and felt this and was really taken aback by the quality. It had a weighty feeling behind it and the elastic around the wrist felt like it would hold it's shape. I have a thing about that. I didn't buy it initially but I did a couple of days later and I don't regret it. The A New Day brand has been bringing it with the work wear. I really love the grey blazer and could see myself wearing this to work. I love the plaid-type print. This organza tank is also the perfect layering piece to bring you into fall. Target has also just launched their new brand Prologue. This brand is a minimalist's dream. Full of awesome basics as well as some really unique pieces like these joggers that are like a pant material but with this casual cut. I think I really, really want this high neck tank. I cannot say 'no' to olive green and it's so versatile. You could wear long with a legging or tuck it into a high waist pant or skirt. I need it, right? So much good happening at Target right now!
