Two weekends ago Minnesota suffered from a literal April blizzard. Whiteout conditions and at least around us we got 18 inches of snow. Why do we live here? Ugh. The biggest bummer was that I had plans to meet up with a new friend that I had to cancel. We rescheduled for last Sunday and I was so pumped!

The coffee was caffeinated, the breakfast pastry was yummy and the company was warm. So lovely to meet up with new people and my first time I had been talking with someone on IG and we met in real life for a chat. A strange experience to feel like you know someone but not really, yet. It was a perfectly lovely Sunday.
What does one wear for a coffee chat? Lately, I have found myself reaching for these jeans from Gap, over and over again. They just seem to go with everything. I also really love high waist jeans post-baby. It helps to create a shape for me again, and I am obsessed. It's Sunday morning so I want to keep it casual but also feeling like I gotta keep it chic. I bought this top at the end of my pregnancy thinking it would be perfect for maternity. Actually, I love it more now. It is a perfect relaxed top but with a silhouette that just reads classic to me. You can dress it up with jewelry or down with sneakers. I kept it casual with necklaces but these Calvin Klein shoes are a dramatic element. It was a little chilly when I left the house so I threw on my lightweight moto jacket to best match with the shoes.
