Fall is my all-time favorite season. Summer is beautiful and everything, but often here it is too humid to be comfortable and you end up spending all day indoors anyway. But Fall, all you need is a sweater, jacket and maybe a big blanket scarf and you are good to go.

In the past month, I have been lucky enough to get out of the office a few times, a rarity when you have a toddler. A couple of weeks ago I went to Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis to see one of my favorite local performers, Dessa,  play with the orchestra. It was an amazing show because she is a stellar talent. If you ever have the chance to see her, take it.

I think this look is quintessentially Fall. This rust color is my absolute favorite color this season. I could wear it all day. A perfect fall warmth color, but with a hint of red that just feels luxurious to me. Steps up your fall game ;).  Two-thirds of this look is from Loft. I really love their Fall line, they do great sweaters and fun bottoms. I showed this skirt off a couple of weeks ago and told you how much I loved it. This is another great way to wear it. I decided to go for a monochrome look (funny that ;) ] and paired it with this bar back sweater from Loft. I was crushing on this sweater for a long time and finally snagged it on sale. Limited sizes are left so I linked some very similar ones. Typically a monochrome look is black, white or gray so I thought I would add my own twist to it with a different neutral. I topped it off with these OTK boots, another fall favorite, to make it feel more nighttime appropriate versus work wear. I definitely brought a little edge to Orchestra Hall.
