Annnnnd it's Monday! I am trying to get back on a somewhat regular posting scheduling so this is the start of that. I have grand intentions of getting an Iceland itinerary post up and our recommendations. It will happen but first, fashion. Of the three-night looks this is one of my favorites. I bought this look at a local place for our nicer dinner to celebrate our anniversary.

If you saw my other posts (here/ here) we landed in Iceland really early on Friday and did a bunch of site seeing. On Saturday it was our plan to do more site seeing and make that our anniversary date night. Just to give you the cliff notes that day we did a couple of things two of which were Thingvelllier National Park and Gulfoss Falls. These were some of the prettiest things we saw. Wandered around Thingvellier for two hours and easily could have spent way more time there. At one time it was where the tribes of Iceland came to open their government. It's also where the Prime Minister's summer home once was. Really beautiful. Gulfoss Falls was legitimately the biggest waterfalls I have ever seen. It was massive and just overwhelmingly stunning. It was such a gorgeous day too, we got so lucky.

Come Saturday night we were ready to go out. I was tired from the activities of the day but excited to celebrate our anniversary. I saw this dress some time ago at local favorite Proper Shops. I knew it would be perfect for the trip. I also think I could make it work for my job as well. I love the subtle leopard print and it's fairly thin so would be easy to layer with a long cardi or faux leather coat. What really sold me though is the tie waist. I am tall, about 5'8" so sometimes a standard dress where they assume the waist is, is not where my waist is. It rules out a lot of dresses and some jumpsuits for me, but not this one! I decided to pair it with my OTK boots because I want to wear them every day. Also, because it was cold there and I needed all the coverage I could get. These definitely would work with an ankle bootie too, which I would maybe do at the office.I kept the jewelry fairly simple. A fun tassel earring and simple necklace. The pattern and OTK boots are enough for boldness for me. A super easy look but chic.
