Happy Monday folks! For once I am excited for a Monday. Today is the Minnesota Twins home opener. So far there season has been terrible. They have not won any of their six games, but I have hope. You cannot lose them all. WIN TWINS!

Otherwise I had a pretty great weekend. Friday I went to see Har Mar Superstar with my dad.  Now he may look strange, and that is cause he is. Do not be fooled by his appearance as he can sing awesome R &B. Our local entertainment pages called him the "bald and portly Justin Timberlake" which is the best description of him I have ever heard. He is a local guy, named after long gone Har Mar Mall. He put on an awesome show, with a few costume changes. We had a blast. Open bands were decent too. Well one was, Solid Gold. The other was some punk band that sounded like Sex Bob-omb in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World . But it's always fun to be at First Avenue so we made due.

Saturday we went out for my mom and soon to be brother-in-law's birthday. We went to a small St. Paul restaurant Carmelo's. It is quite literally a hole in the wall, but the food is really good. Only downside is it is really small so it's hard to talk to everyone at the table. After dinner we headed over to Grand Ave watering hole Tavern on Grand for a night cap. Basically spent the whole weekend with my family, which is fine by me. We always have a great time with great food. Win-win.

Sunday stay at home day. We were basically out all weekend so we needed  a day. Got a little housework done, working on the walk-in closet and trying to enjoy the sunshine. I am hopeful that next weekend the weather will be way nicer and I have every intention of getting outside. Fingers crossed!

On Friday the weather was still pretty chilly so I was not ready to break out a tank top. At the same time it was a rock show so I wanted to be a bit cool. I have had this sweater in my closet for a while and thought it would work perfectly. It has an open back so it adds a bit of edge. Now that I have these high waisted jeans I feel way more comfortable because I know now that not everything will be all hanging out.  At the same time I don't feel super comfortable with my bra exposed so I bought this bandeau top a long time ago and it works perfectly. I really love an open back, because I really think a woman's back is sexy. #sorrynotsorry I collected some cool open back sweaters for y'all to shop. This sweater is over a year old so it's no longer available but there are some other great options. I love these for Spring because you get to show a little skin, but still keep it covered to stay warm. Or like my dad said to me when he saw this "you didn't have enough money for a whole shirt?" Funny Dad. A regular comedian over here.
