It is no secret I love jewelry. I go in phases of loving delicate vs statement, metals vs jewels. It varies so much even I can't keep up. These days I am more about the delicate, subtle pieces. Items that can be easily layered or translate with multiple items in my wardrobe. Buying pieces for me is an investment. Having items I can only wear with 1 or 2 outfits is not worth it for me and, frankly, some mornings I just don't have time to think about it super clearly.

When I came across Oak + Thread I felt I found a new jewelry home. The site is full of delicate, mostly, metal earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets. There are a few items with semi precious stones for those of you in favor of that style. I have seen sites like this before and then I go to look at the price tag and it's way outside my budget. I was pleasantly surprised to see these totally affordable prices well suited for a gift for you or someone else for this holiday season.

I searched and around and was immediately drawn in by two pieces:

This ring is fantastic. I am loving the negative spaces in jewelry pieces. This ring caught my eye for that specific reason. I also love the uniqueness of the onyx color (psst. also comes in gold and silver). I don't have any black metals in my collection and this is the perfect addition to my monochrome closet. I was a little nervous it wouldn't fit as you don't select a size. I have big knuckles (weird , I know) and skinny fingers but it fits just fine on my ring finger. So don't let that deter you.

These earrings were bought to replace a similar item. I had some gold bar studs I lost a few months back, but were not as long as these. I love the simplicity and that they are almost long enough to qualify for a dangle carrying without getting in the way. As pretty as long earrings are, they just are not practical for my day to day. Gold is the staple in my wardrobe but these also come in silver. I have worn them basically every day since I got them.

Like what you see? Well you are in luck. Head on over to Oak + Thread  and use the code meghan15 to get 15% off your order! Great deal right? I definitely have my eye on a few more pieces I want to add to my collection. Or maybe I will just put them on holiday wishlist. Who knows? ;)

Enjoy!
