Happy Friday everyone! Well this is the end of a long and complicated week for various reasons. I am ready for a weekend refresh and hopefully a new week next week.

Given the events of this week I am not really in the mood to be quippy and there is not much new to report.

Although, this Sunday I have styled some looks with the help of My Sister's Closet for the Innovations Minnesota Fashion Show this Sunday on November 13th. Click here to buy tickets! It is going to be great :) If you can't go follow along on my instagram (@mymonochromaticlife)  for all the fun.

WHO WHAT WEAR
This week I had another plan for this post but then in one of my random trips to Target I came across the new Who What Wear line. Target has done this Who What Wear line for a couple of seasons now and they have not disappointed. I have a few other pieces from their previous lines and I drool over them every time. Their style speaks to my aesthetic like few other lines of this level. I thought for my H54F it would be fun to pick some of my favorite items for upcoming Winter parties or even for work.

TOPS
I loved these two tops immediately. The sweater on the left is perfect for work. A seemingly simple sweater has a unique silhouette with mock turtle neck and bell sleeves. It is a fun twist on a simple black sweater. The right blouse could easily be worn to work or paired with a fun skirt for those upcoming holiday parties. I love the little bow in the front and solid cuffs. I like the cuffs for some reason, most of the lace tops stay open until the ends. I think it is a nice touch.

SKIRTS
These skirts. I am obsessed with sequin skirts right now. I love the sequin for holidays. Always have, always will. I can see it paired with either a swing tank top, or more fitted sweater. This sequin skirt is a statement and requires little to go along with it. The fitted pencil midi skirt is also serious eye candy. I really love a midi cut as an option for Fall and into early Winter. This skirt comes in several patterns but I love this burgundy pattern. I know in my neutral color palette this will fit nicely into my closet

DRESSES/VEST
This was the most variety for me. I think I will always love the military cut and colors. The dress  would be perfect for work and transition well into happy hour time. Add a long cardigan now that the weather is getting chilly. This trench is so flattering. I love that it is less cargo and more draped. I also like that there is a tie to cinch in that waist. This style can have a tendency to look bulky but not with this trench. This dress in the middle is really the dress that started it all. I am super into the crushed velvet trend right now and I am on the hunt. I may seek this dress out and see if I can still make it work for my pregnancy, but mark my words I will find something. This also comes in silver but I prefer the black. This is a holiday party dress. Wear with a strappy shoe and fun statement jewelry to be the hit of the party.
