Most days I dress pretty casual for work, conservative but casual. Every once in a while I get jealous of work places with a business casual style of dress. When I get the urge to dress up it's good to have some slacks in the ol' closet. Given my changing waistline I knew I needed something with a little more forgiveness. I saw these pants a few weeks ago at local favorite Proper & Prim and knew I could make this work. The pleats in the front seem that they would make my waistline look bigger but it actually does the opposite. I mean there is only so much I can hide, but I definitely think this helps. The elastic along the back gives me a little more wiggle room. I love to pair this with a funky button up and flats. This old faithful from Target goes perfectly with some slimming, I am all about black everything these days. I also love these snakeskin flats I got from JustFab some time ago. Ready to feel fancy for work!
