Any get the Laverne and Shirley reference? Am I the only one who is 100 years old? Ok....

Happy Friday! Hallelujah, it's the weekend. I am ready to relax this weekend. I have some plans to get my hair done, run a couple of errands and spend some time with friends. I am very ready to get this work day done with and enjoy my weekend. I hope you get to do the same.

I have seen this dress going around in the blogosphere a bit and knew it would be the perfect option. I planned to eat my full that day but wanted to keep it cute ;) A wider shift dress helps cover that turkey bump so you can eat your full. I also am fully on board with the chenille trend. I have to be honest and say that initially, I was not so sure about the fabric.  I think it reminded me of too many outfits I wore as a kid. But it only takes one or two pieces to change your mind. If you are on the fence about it this would be an ideal one to jump in. It's so incredibly soft it might as well be pajamas. It was cozy too, almost too hot for Thanksgiving. With all that cooking and people it was so warm, I almost had to step outside so keep that in mind. It would be a great option for a holiday party. This dress comes in five different colors! I opted for this mauve color because I have nothing like it in my closet. I also knew it would match perfectly with these OTK boots I have. You could also pair this would sock bootie too for another chic look.   I kept the accessories simple because it's a day event. A classic scarf. I also recently got this opal type necklace from my Rocksbox (code for 1 month free below) that matched perfectly with this dress. I also opted for a bralette, the V-neck was a little slouchy. I sized up on the dress for length and the neck was naturally going off the shoulder. This is the best bralette I have ever seen and I am sure you have seen it on every fashion blogger in town. It's great though and if you don't have it, you need it.
