Annnnnd it's Monday again. Back to the grind. Who's not ready for a new day? Me either so let's not and say we did. Instead of work outfit, I thought I'd take it back to a fun boat cruise I did a couple of weeks ago and the best sweater tank I have ever worn.

A couple of weeks ago my sister, parents and I went on this boat cruise on the Mississippi River in connection with the Irish Fair. We went last year and had a great time, so decided to do it again. Fun irish bands and a boat cruise? Yes please! But what to wear? It was a hot one, but being on the water I always anticipate it getting cooler. I also really prefer to wear my clothes that I can't wear to work out and about so these Madewell ripped jeans are some of my favorites. The originals are old but I linked a few really similar options. I threw on some block heels to keep it fancy, but you totally could have worn a neutral flat with this too.

The hero piece (picking this phrase up from my man Tan France) is this sweater tank. I actually bought this tank some time ago and somehow forgot to take a picture. It is still in stock in all sizes and also comes in a salmon pink. I have a love/hate relationship with sweater tanks. I really want them to work but often I find they are too bulky or they lose their shape too easily. It seems that the material isn't sturdy enough. Not this top, this tank is absolutely perfect. It holds up all day, even in the humidity, it holds the shape. It perfectly french tucks (thanks. Tanny) as well. I think it makes it look oh so chic. If you are in the market this one I would highly recommend.
