Winter has returned to Minneapolis. We got lucky and have had a few unseasonably warm days in January but it's back to the old grind. In honor (ugh) of the return of the cold I am wearing one of my favorite old sweaters. I bought this sweater several years ago and Express and wear it religious. It is a serious staple of my closet not only because it is stylish but because it is dang comfortable. I used to pair it with skinny jeans but after finding these ponte pants from J.Crew factory it's a done deal. Finish it off with some knee high boots, a must for winter, and we have ourselves a look. Not mention this whole outfit is black and grey. Best.colors.eva. Enjoy!

Oh! Also, if you follow me on instagram, if you don't please do I would appreciate it @mymonochromaticlife, you would have seen this picture already. I bought this amazing hat yesterday and it worked out perfectly in snow today. Derek tried to tell me it looked like Pharell's hat. Le sigh...

I love it!! Cowl necklines are the best. In fact, I'm wearing one now!
Lovely blog, by the way.
