Happy Monday! Well...it's Monday anyway. Hope you had a great weekend. I had a pretty good weekend myself. Unfortunately I did not take too many pictures, but there is a fun outfit details coming up!

On Friday we went out to celebrate my friend's 30th birthday party. I don't know about you, but Fridays are rough for me. I am tired from the long day and week and prefer to stay in. However this was one of my good friends and a big birthday so off we went. We started out at Cowboy Jack's in downtown Minneapolis. I am not a huge cowboy bar fan, I really do not like country music and the like but it was a pretty decent bar. It was huge inside and had one of those mechanical bulls in the middle of the room. My friend reserved a space on the mezzanine level which came complete with a pool table, arcade games, dart board and a few tables. It overlooked the entire bar so it felt like we were still part of the bar scene. We spent a good amount of time there before my friend wanted to go to The Saloon, a local gay night club. I have been here before and was not a huge fan, but he likes it and it was his birthday so off we went. We actually had a good time spending the rest of the evening dancing the night away. A major high light of the evening was our friend who is in the Air Force surprised everyone by showing up. It was great to see him because he gets so few trips home.

On Saturday we slept in. We were tired from being ABBA style dancing queens the nigh before. That night we had a few friends over that could not make it the night before to hang out with our friend from the Air Force. It was a nice quiet night in with our friends talking and playing games. Sunday was the laziest day of the weekend by far. I had to drive my parents to the airport at 5:00 AM so my sleep was terribly interrupted. We spent the remainder of the day watching a GOT (that's Game of Thrones) marathon. This week we switched cable providers and got free HBO for 2 years! This girl is happy :) If my blog posts reduce this is the sole reason why.  How was your weekend? Do anything fun and exciting? Leave a comment below.

The bottom half of this outfit has been featured in multiple previous posts. I love this skit because it is so comfortable and versatile. I found this crop top at Primp Boutique this last week. I bought one size up because I have a long torso and wanted more of it covered. I struggled with it all night out of self consciousness but I really did love the look.
