Happy Monday! Well I had a really good weekend. It was the perfect blend meeting with people and relaxing. On Friday my mom came over to my house for a bit to see some new blinds we got. I was way too excited about the sillhouette blinds we got for our upstairs living room and because the apple does not fall too far from the tree my mom wanted to see them as well. After that I went to see American Sniper with my younger sister. She made it her mission this year to see all the movies nominated for a Best Picture Oscar and this was the last one she needed to see. I saw it once before with Derek but it was good and she needed someone to go with her. We went to a late movie (10:15 PM) so as much as the movie was good we were both ready for bed after that. I came home and went straight to bed. Well, not straight to bed I am catching up on The Comeback on HBO. LOVING this show and having HBO again.
Saturday I went to the gym, ran some errands and went to a co-workers goodbye party. It was a house party where we ate some dinner and played some games. It was fun seeing co-workers outside the work place and getting to know some of them better. This is where my outfit comes in. I was thinking that because it is a house party so I wanted to be casual but also wanted to wear something fun. I bought this kimono a few weeks ago from one of the best stores on planet Earth, Primp, and having been struggling a little bit with how to style it. I think I finally figured it out last night though. I have also had this tank top from J. Crew Factory since last year when I went to Mexico but have not worn it too much. Thankfully this is where my hoarding issues come in :) I tend to hold on to clothes for a long time in hopes that at some point they will come in handy and it did. I am also really loving where my hair up this way, although it would look a little better if my hair was a bit longer, but I think it looks ok. I know I am late to the kimono trend but better late than never.

I have been loving kimonos and it's been great fining them everywhere from Target to VS. There are some really pretty pieces out there. Thank you for sharing your post, it makes me look forward to summer and all the cute clothes that just bag to be pulled out. :) You look very cute!
