I noticed that unintentionally this week was "Banana Republic" week on the blog. That is probably because ever since Marissa Webb took over as the creative director at  BR there aesthetic has been epic. I used to peruse BR and maybe find a decent basic shirt when I worked in corporate America. If I am being honest, I typically found their clothes ill fitting and their fabric unflattering. I would always walk into their store so hopeful to find a clean, classic piece and I would always walk out frustrated and disappointed. Recently I walked int my local BR store and immediately felt like I wanted to move in there. I decided this was my new home and I began to set up camp. As I started putting up my tent an associate asked me if I needed help and I thought "in more ways than one." Just kidding, I did not put up a tent. That is frowned upon, but I wanted to for sure. So I thought I would close out unofficial BR week on the blog with my favorite pieces from there. These days they are rockin' the black and white as well as mustard color trends. I am OBSESSED. I will add a mustard piece to my wardrobe. #itshappening

Enjoy!
