It has been a minute since I had a fashion look on the blog. I am sorry for the delay it was beauty box city over here so no time for fashion. After Christmas I was desperately resisting snagging a few items because I knew my birthday was coming up. In the past I have purchased things that were already bought for me as a gift. This makes people mad. However I found a loophole: buy something not even remotely on my wishlist and you can make out like a bandit! After the holidays Madewell was having a major sale (pssst...still have a really awesome sale) and I picked up this buffalo check shirt and loafers. I have been wanting a shirt with this pattern for some time and was grateful to get it at a decent price. Also, it is legit flannel so on these freezing days it is so warm and cozy. I have also been basically living in these loafers. They dress up any look and are super comfortable. The burgundy color is fantastic as it makes them more versatile with more outfits. I am completely obsessed with them. You can see in the pictures too I was unsure if I should tuck it in or leave the shirt untucked. Thoughts?
