Ok so normally I don't wear this much red, but I must be feeling the Christmas spirit this week. We are officially four days ahead from Christmas and I am taking the next five days off of work. Hallelujah! I am ready for a break. who is with me?

That said I am looking at spending the next four days at Christmas parties and I need four different outfits. Even for someone who loves to pull a look together, that's a lot pressure. Some of these parties are dressier and some are more casual. I was thinking about an option for one of the more casual parties when putting this together. This was a sweater I had on my wishlist for a long time. It went on sale and I snagged it. Actually, the size I normally would buy (small) was out so I took a chance on a medium. I am glad I did because the sleeves were a little short. I have the longest arms ever so not really a surprise. I really loved the pink side stripe on this, just super unique. I haven't met a stripe I didn't like ;) The sweater is a bit lighter material, which I like for holiday parties. With so many people it tends to get pretty warm so a light sweater is the way to go. I paired them with my absolute favorite high waisted jeans. I could leave this untucked as I did, to leave room or snacks or you could tuck it in to create a great silhouette. To dress it up a bit I wore these sock booties. I super love these and wear them constantly. A staple in my closet and can be worn just by rolling up the pant leg a little bit. Some of these accessories like the bag and the watch I got from my Rachel Zoe Box of Style (details to come) but these fun earrings are from Bauble Bar and I wear them every chance I get!
