Yay for Friday everyone! It was kind of a busy week so I will keep this short and sweet. Let's jump right into it!

If you follow me on instagram (and you should) I have been obsessed with Kylie Cosmetics for some time now. She only drops the info on when she is release products on her app, but there are a bunch of IG pages that release that information. I follow Lipsnitches who is great about updates and times. I always get what I want with no problems. Recently I got on board with her metallics and am OBSESSED! The color Reign in particularly is my fav. I pair it with the Too Faced PB&J Palette and love the look. I think  it works great for Summer and will transition nicely into Fall. You will see a lot of selfies on snapchat (mcainmoss)  all too frequently with this color. I love a snapchat filter. Cannot help myself. #sorrynotsorry . Do yourself a favor though and get on board with these. They are amazing colors, matte finish and long lasting. The metallics aren't as good in the long lasting department but everything else makes up for it.

If you are a regular reader you know that we have been updating the house a lot. Now that the weather is nice we are heading outdoors as the next step. Over the weekend we got some lillies from a friend and started bottling wine. On Monday we had to plant the lillies and finish bottling wine. We basically spent all Monday evening doing this. Not how I want to spend my Monday but there is a feeling of accomplishment I enjoyed.

Thursday was a gorgeous day in Minneapolis. Sunny, 70s and almost no clouds. I spend all day indoors with no windows. I needed outside. D also had the idea to go to one of our favorite bars but I convinced him to sit outside to eat first. We went to one of our favorite places The Sample Room to split a meal and a drink out on the patio. Then our local hangout Donny Dirk's for a night cap. There was trivia where we played along without actually playing, which is the best way in my opinion. You get to be proud when you are right and no consequences when you are wrong. Win-Win.

I ran down to one of my favorite boutiques on Thursday to get a gift card. What I did not know is they were doing some launch party with drinks cupcakes and models. So many gorgeous clothes. It was hard to walk out. I had to call upon Candice (She's Leaning In) to talk me out of it. And she did. It's ok, it's what I needed. She is my shopping addicts sponsor. It was the right thing to do.

I bought this dress a couple of weeks ago at another local favorite Primrose Park. One of my favorite designers Everly made this dress and I basically love everything they do. It's a faux wrap which is good so I don't have to monkey around with it. However I did almost Marilyn in it a couple of times. It is so comfortable and so flattering. It cuts off at the perfect spot for me, right about the bottom of the ribcage where I am the skinniest. The slight A-line highlights my strengths and covers my flaws. I also love a stripe, let's be honest. Nothing wrong with those. Fabric is a bit stretchy but holds it shape so it can move throughout the day without becoming unflattering. I paired it with my favorite marble pendant and Target flats. This was perfect for a warm summer work day. I could also see dressing this up with a nude heel for a night out, but I would stick to more delicate jewelry. Statement pieces would over power this look. What do you think?
