Happy Monday ladies and gents! Welcome to another work week. Hoping to a bit better week than last. For one the weather around here is supposed to be better so that's one thing! I actually had a great weekend so let's get to it!

The slightly warmer weather means it is bonfire season. Last weekend we hosted a bonfire and Friday our friends had one. We drove up to their house and enjoying a warm fire and tasty s'mores. Perfect Friday really because it was a super chill hang out. On Fridays I am so tired from the week all I can do is sit quietly so we had fun. It was a big chillier than I had hoped but overall a great fire!

On Saturday we equally had a chill day. We were up kind of late on Friday so I slept in a little later than I wanted. I woke up to hear from D that our lawnmower was broken. We decided to hit the gym then look for a mower. Did you know how expensive lawnmowers are? Like, crazy expensive. Not exactly how I wanted to spend our dollars this weekend. We balked at the store and D went to try and get it repaired. I headed up looking for another item I needed. Turns our our mower is not fixable so he bought one. Oh well, we need it right? That night we met up with some friends for dinner and drinks. We had dinner at Red Cow, one of our favorite spots , before heading out to another favorite Donny Dirk's for drinks. Seriously, if you are in Minneapolis it is the best cocktail around and the best service.

Sunday was spent running a couple of errands and playing with snapchat filters, because I am an adult ;) Seriously snapchat filters always make me laugh. Or the pretty filter, which I am obsessed with for obvious reasons. I had intentions of getting some actual work done but we also had to bottle some of the wine we made so that got pushed to the back burner. Later that night some of our friends came over to bottle the wine we made a few weeks ago. With the four of us it actually went pretty fast. We bottled about 60 of them, we still have about 60 to go but I am getting pretty excited. I have to be honest I felt pretty weak, trying to cork is hard so my other friend did them all. Oh well I suppose I helped in other ways ha!

Overall another great weekend for the books. On Saturday I finally got a chance to wear this denim romper I posted about a couple of weeks ago. It combines a lot of great trends right now: denim on denim, romper, culottes and overalls. I am telling you this is so comfortable! I wore it all day for shopping and dinner and loved it. I wore a cardigan because it was a little chilly but in the summer this will be perfect on it's own. You could pair it with sandals but I think with the cut of the pants the high block heel is a better choice. Little delicate jewelry and the right fringe bag gives me a 70s vibe and I love it. Happy to wear this all summer!
