Happy Friday folks! Well it has been a long week around here, but a fair amount of change so let's get to it.
P.S. This is a pregnancy heavy post so hope you don't mind.

1. 40 WEEKS AND SOME ODD DAYS
On Monday I had a doctor appointment to see how ready my body was for labor. Welp, it was not. My doctor promised she would not let me go past 41 weeks so we scheduled an induction for this Sunday night. As glad as I am to have a plan, I was really disappointed to have to wait another full week. I am so over being pregnant. Anyone who has had kids I am sure can relate. Any tips for keeping busy at the hospital? Sounds like we might be there for a while. Other fun fact? I got a cold this week. So not only am I several days overdue, but I can't breathe nor take cold medicine. Good news is there is an end in sight and I am ready for this.....I think....

Also note, that I am going to be taking some time away from the blog after the baby is born. I will need a couple of weeks to get my bearings, so please be patient with me. I will still be posting on instagram (@mymonochromaticlife) so be sure to follow along!

2. WERK

I made Thursday my last work day. I was going to work through Friday, but many of the staff are out of the office on Friday and they were talking about a big snow storm. It was a long work week as I am pretty tired and uncomfortable for being overdue. I am lucky to have really great co-workers who laughed with me this week, encouraged me and gave me all their crazy induction ideas. One of which was eating eggplant. I did try it. No dice.

3. SUGARFIX

Did you see  Wednesday post? I recently came across this BaubleBar collab with Target. I was so happy to see this. I went to buy the necklace in my post but was not at the store. Instead I scored this beauty. Be sure to check out my post here!

4. STAYING FIT

I am still working out. I am tired but I keep reminding myself about how I won't be able to for about 6 weeks afterwards. It really is not easy but it does make me feel strong in my body at this very late stage. As long as I can get up and move around I will.

5. BLUSH CRUSH
Ok so I am really, really into the blush trend right now. I am debating getting this sweater from Lulu's. Thoughts?
