Happy Friday! We made it to the weekend you guys, a first full week after the holidays. I survived, barely, and I hope you did too.

EVOLUTION BY CYRUS LANDON COWLNECK PULLOVER
So this I wasn't sure I would love initially as it looked a little plain. As soon as I tried it on I knew I was keeping it. I have long, gorilla-like arms so when I find a top that I can grasp in my hands it's mine! I have a thing where I like my sleeve to go past my wrists, am I alone here? I also loved the cowl neck it's perfect for winter to keep you warm. The hemline is a little high low so you can wear this with leggings too, which is exactly how I will be wearing it. The material is kind of a heavy knit henley material. So comfy you guys, you need it!

MARILYN SCHIFF EDEN CZ HINGE CUFF BRACELET SET
I have been working on building up my variety of bracelets and was so excited to see this set in my Fix. I am a big fan of a cuff style bracelet and this one has a hinge so no more squeezing it on your wrist! You can wear these together or apart. One is silver and the other is gold but I am a believer in mixing metals. You can definitely wear them alone too. I wore the silver one out for my birthday last weekend. These are also pretty sparkly so if you are going to wear them in the day or to work I would recommend only wearing one. These are beautiful though and I needed more bracelets so I kept these.

EMPERIA KIPPER WOVEN CROSSBODY
Of all the purses I have (it's embarrassing) I don't have a nice black purse to wear out. I have a casual black crossbody, and a smaller one but it doesn't hold my regular wallet. Also, since becoming a mom small purses have no use to me. I asked for a black bag I could take to dinner or any nicer events. I love this one so much! The woven detail is really unique, so it's not just a simple black bag. I also have a thing with these foldover purses. I just love the look of them. This purse has two outside pockets too, which is helpful if you need something easily accessible. For me, it's crackers for my daughter. Crackers are everywhere these days...

RETROD WADE FRONT SNAP CARDIGAN
This one I thought for sure I wouldn't be a fan of. Initially, when I put it on I thought it wasn't for me. While I was taking these photos though I kind of started to like it. It's a chunky, long cardi and black and white. It should be up my alley. I showed it to your two ways both open, but also snapped up like it is designed. It has a front cross snap so it' creates this great asymmetrical shape. Worn open it looks more like a shawl cardigan but closed up it is more of a mock turtle neck. I actually kind of like it closed up. It's more unique that way, there are a hundred great shawl cardis out there. I do like that the body of this is looser but the sleeves are more fitted so it creates a sleek look. I didn't end of up keeping it because I have a lot of cardigans, but it's a great option.

My last piece is this camel sweater. I don't have anything like this in my closet and was wanting to add a camel colored item to my closet. Let's start with what I like, which are these stripes down the arms. It's a fairly basic top otherwise so this adds a little somethin', somethin'. Although basic, sometimes a basic top is nice. You can dress it up for work or down for the weekend, they're versatile. The problem with this sweater is it fits a little short. It's a little cropped and short in the arms. I could have tried a medium, but I find that sometimes it doesn't quite fix that. Then I would have to go up more sizes which changes the whole shape, so back it went.
