Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and, I imagine, are back at work today. I did have to work some over the holiday so it's not too bad to be at work today but these next three days there will be a lot to accomplish so I kind of have to hit the ground running. So I wanted to take one more opportunity to share this look that was one of my most popular looks from 2018.

I wore this actually to a blogger event last month and I loved it. Best part? This top is from Target. It's part of their A New Day line, which looks more in the Loft/Nordstrom/Anthropologie lane. I really love this line mostly for work attire. The quality is also surprising as well. Most people I have talked to thought it was from Anthropologie and were surprised when I told them where I got it from. I also found out, without consulting, that my sister bought the same top but in cream. Great minds.

The cluster of jewels is what really sold me on this top. I loved how the grouping of different sizes and textures sparkle! Just enough to dress up your average sweater. For this look, I decided to tuck into these high waist jeans. Also a fan favorite. They just look amazing. The actual jeans are sold out, but I linked a few very similar ones. I think the straight leg fit creates a flattering silhouette with the balloon sleeves of the top. Tucking in makes for a more hourglass shape, of which I don't naturally possess but I like to play with shapes to make it look like I do. Topped the look off with these sock booties, which are amazing. They literally go with everything and are so comfortable. You need these for this winter.
