Happy Wednesday! So again, I had some more spring-type items ready to go today but nope! We got a bunch more snow and I just couldn't stomach posting it today. Instead, I thought I would go for the more casual track pant look. Track pants seem to go in and out of style in the last few years. Just one of those more fad-type items that are best held onto for awhile so you do not have to start all over again. I, for one, am always trying to make room in my closet so if I have not worn it for a year, it's gone. Track pants I have not had for some time. I just could not figure out how to make it work for me and in my repertoire. However, with the whole athleisure movement this is a new ballgame.

I was meandering through Target the other day, making my typical rounds when I came across these pants. Not only were these a great silk-satin, making them a bit dressier than your average track pant, but they were also on mega sale! A real no brainer. I could not find the exact pair so I linked a similar pair, but my Target had a bunch left so be sure to check yours out. I liked the material on these because it could easily translate to a more upscale look. I wanted to show a little bit today so for one I paired it with this bomber blazer. The bomber aspect matches the track pant casualness, but the blazer has a dressier feel. In the summer I could pair this with an open-toed bootie out for drinks or dinner. Another way is with a cool tee and sneakers. This is not your going to gym look. This is an edgier tee with like-minded sneakers. This I would wear more for running errands on the weekend or a casual hang out with friends. Two looks, same great pants.
