It's Monday, monday monday ladies and gents! I must say this was a vey interesting weekend for several weeks. As always it was too short and as always makes me wish for summer to get here faster.
Friday was a pretty relaxed night. I rushed home after work because we had someone coming over to consult with on our flooring in our upstairs. We are working on renovating our house a little bit from closets, to furniture to flooring. I had planned to go to the gym but no dice that day. Unfortunately the consult did not give us a bunch of options so it was kind of a bust. In lieu of anything else productive I did an at home work out dvd. Then we went over to a friend's house for movie night. They made dinner and we brought some snacks and the movie. Our friend's house has one of those big projectors and screens so it is always fun to watch movies over there. After the movie we headed home because it was a Friday and we always get tired early.
On Saturday it was super beautiful outside. It got up to 60 degrees outside! For Minnesota in February, that is a dream come true. I needed to get outside. Fortunately I had some errands to run and that would take me outside. I met my friend early in the morning because local boutique Primp was having their warehouse sale. We went last year and found a couple good things at a great price so we definitely wanted to go again. She had to be somewhere else by noon so we went early. Lots more stuff this year but also a longer line. We decided to wait it out because, well, we drove all the way down there. We both found a couple of things so I would say it was worth it.
After shopping we split and I ran my errands. I ran over to one of my favorite coffee places, Spyhouse, where doors were open and everyone who could was outside. Seriously, it was a gorgeous day. After that I ran a few errands and visited my parents before I came home. Then we had some friends over and D brewed while us girls talked and watched Pitch Perfect 2. Sometimes it is fun to have friends over and just completely relax and hang out. It was a good Saturday.

Sunday the weather drastically changed. It was in the 30s a snowing. Only in Minnesota does this kind of crazy weather happen. We started our day by watching our nephew's hockey game. It's fun to watch him play and watch the skill level change each year. After that we tried to do some more flooring shopping until we basically could not take it anymore. We went home to eat and relax and that ladies and gents, was my weekend.

On Saturday I took advantage of the warm temps with a sleeveless top. To be fair it is knit but sleeveless nonetheless. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and was waiting for the right time to wear it. Saturday it was. The arm holes are a bit long so I put this VS bralette on for modesty of course. I also forgot about these Qupid booties from another local favorite, Proper + Prim, and thought they would fit perfectly with this look. I got nothing but compliments on these shoes while running around and need to work these back into regular rotation. Quick pairing with my fav skinnies and this pendant marble necklace and we have a great look. Oh and also these sunglasses. I cannot take credit for these I snapped Truelane about it and she told me where to find them. But you all should grab them. I am obsessed!
