Happy Friday everyone! I am sure we all feel the same: Hallelujah for the long weekend! I am ready for the last official weekend of summer. I am so ready to get out of town. Unfortunately ours will be cut a bit short as I have a wedding on Sunday. I am, however, hoping for at least one solid day of sun and lake time.

For the last H54F of the summer I thought I would put together five options for various types of Labor Day parties. Enjoy!

1. HAMPTONS PARTY
I don't know why, but every time I think of fancy summer party I think of the Hamptons. Maybe it is because of all f the Real Housewives of New York I watch but it looks so classy. For this type of party I imagine a light and breezy dress. This dress I wore last year to a wine tasting bachelorette party, which basically has the same vibe. The stripes always read a bit nautical which is perfect if you are near the water. It is a bit more cocktail than a casual sun dress, but perfect for a day party.

2. DAY INTO NIGHT
It is always hard to find something that transitions well from day into night. Especially this time of year when days are warm and nights are cold. I love this romper as it is transitional in so many ways. Light enough for the day and can be paired easily with flats or heels. At night just add a big comfy sweater and you are ready for a cooler breeze and fireworks.

3. BACKYARD BBQ
For a backward you want something a little more casual. If you are me, casual still means and eyelet top and cute sandals. It takes a lot for me to go full blown teeshirt and jeans so I am not there yet. I love this top because it is incredibly light and breathable and adorable of course :) . I have also spent my life in these shorts this summer. The love cut off fringe and light color. Basically works with everything all summer long. A little trick? Buy them a bit big so they hang on you. Cut off shorts look best when they really look like you cut them yourself.

4. CASUAL DAY
Remember what I said about tee shirts and jeans? Well here we are. For some of you Labor Day may mean a day around the house or a small gathering at a cabin in which case, and I hate to say it, fashion may not be priority #1. However, you can still find the best tee shirt and jeans around. I love this tee shirt from Z Supply, it is legit the softest tee you will have wear. This style in particular is cut for a woman's shape so it lays every so delicate around my curves (the few I have anyway) and creates and easy silhouette. Grab your favorite distressed jeans and you are ready to go.

5. BOAT PARTY
Last but not least, those of you on a boat. Boat day means no shirt, not shoes, all fun. Locate  your best and most flattering bathing suit, a hat and you are ready to go. Easy. My favorite suit is this one from Victoria's Secret who sadly will stop selling bathing suits after this year. I can't tell you how upset this makes me. These are the best for a woman's shape. At Target I have to buy the huge bottom because, ya know, I'm not 12 years old. These are great coverage and you feel amazing. Scoop one up before they are gone!

So that's it my best recommendations. Did I miss anything? I am pretty sure I hit all the points. What are your weekend plans? Leave me a comment below I would love to hear from you.

Oh also, due to the holiday there will not be a post on Monday, BUT Wednesday will be a full round up so stay tuned!
